Located on Mount Street in Mayfair, this gallery is on the ground and lower ground floor of a Grade II listed building. The design combined the building’s historical character with simple contemporary interventions, whilst providing flexibility for the display of contemporary art.

 Flush mounted linear ceiling lights and recessed shadow gaps at the base of the walls effectively contrast with period cornices and reclaimed parquet flooring to create a contemporary space within the 19^th century building.  All services are concealed; air conditioning is introduced into the spaces within a 20mm recessed shadow gap at the base of the walls. The lighting design makes use of the rooflights to provide a mix of natural and artificial light throughout the day.
