Campden Hill, London, W8
2013
This un-modernised flat in a 1930s mansion block in Kensington required a complete remodelling and refurbishment. The 3-bedroom, 175m2 flat was designed to provide a comfortable pied-a-terre for an art collector, keeping to a natural but colourful palette and modern detailing.
A natural stone fireplace and seating plinth was created in the living area beneath a lighting artwork piece. A bespoke joinery unit in stained timber and lacquer was created to conceal the television and provide AV storage and a bar, as well as a full width blackened metal and stained timber desk with printer and file storage and a leather writing surface.
